My husband John and daughter Chloe began visiting Playa Del Carmen as well as Cancun in 2004. Our first visit was to the Gran Porto Real in PDC. Chloe was 4 at the time and enjoyed the resort and area as much as we did. We continued to visit PDC and Cancun over the next decade staying at different resorts in both Playa as well as Cancun. We started bringing along my sister, her family as well as my parents. We had some great multi generational family vacations at those decadent resorts!
We so enjoyed this idyllic paradise we often entertained the idea of buying a property where we could eventually retire to. It didn’t seem possible that we could actually own something in such tropical vacation destination.
Fast forward to early 2016 we decided to take the plunge on fulfilling our dreams of owning a slice of paradise; after all we weren’t getting any younger. We looked at many properties during our search and decided it would make the most sense to buy new construction so we wouldn’t be faced with maintenance issues living a 4.5 hour plane ride away.
We decided on the new development Cruz Con Mar. It had a great location only being one street over from the famous Mamitas Beach and one street over from the 20 block pedestrian walk way better know as 5th Avenue. We just closed on the new condo in June 2018 and it is gorgeous!
